On Sunday we had the joy of praying over and commissioning our mission team as they leave for Dallas. This team consists of six people from Harvest who will spend several days ministering to Afghan immigrants residing in the Dallas area. We are partnering with a ministry called Global Gates, which exists to share the love of Christ with people who have come to the U.S. from countries where the gospel has little hearing.
One of the ways we will bless and support the team is through times of dedicated prayer while they are away. Please consider joining us for one (or all!) of these prayer opportunities. Each gathering will feature specific needs and updates as we receive them from the team.
All gatherings will take place in the Adult Discipleship Room (the first room on the left inside the church):
Friday: 7:00-7:30 AM
Saturday: 8:00-8:30 AM
Sunday: 9:00 AM during Adult D Group time
Monday: 6:30 AM during Rise Up Men’s Group
Each gathering will be guided by specific scriptures, which we will also share with everyone through email and Facebook. Please join us even now as we pray for God’s blessing on the team and also on the precious souls they will meet and share with. The team leaves on October 5th and returns on the 9th.
